Dallia Knight (she/her)

Dallia Knight has been a contributing author for Bias for just over five years and hopes to create her own fashion magazine someday.  Knight graduated from the New York Fashion Institute of Technology with a focus on the intersection of design and political science.  She is a West-Coaster at heart, born in Los Angeles, she now spends her time on Vancouver island, on the unceded territory of the WSÁNEĆ First Nations.  Knight is currently studying Indigenous Studies at the university of Victoria and hopes to shed light on the politics of fashion.  Her passion for social justice and fashion has pushed her to specialize in the bridge between artistry and advocacy.

Jenna Rowland (she/her)

Jenna Rowland is a contributing writer at BIAS. She’s written for many influential magazines and is best known for her work at W, Vogue and Cosmopolitan. After graduating with an undergraduate in English Literature from UCLA and exploring her love of fashion journalism, Jenna now turns her attention to BIAS. Her work at BIAS is emotionally charged and guided by her interest in social justice and protecting the environment.

Paige McKay (she/her)

Paige McKay (she/her) is a celebrated fashion and culture journalist whose prose and thoughtful critique have made her a leading voice in contemporary media. Born and raised in remote Northern BC, Paige’s fascination with the interplay of art, history, and identity began at a young age as she pursued home sewing, music and theatre. After earning her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Oxford University and completing her Master’s in Cultural Reporting and Criticism at NYU, Paige has continued to be a central voice in the coverage of fashion design and technology development globally.

Charlotte Ron (she/her)

Charlotte Ron studied journalism at the University of Victoria and received her Bachelor’s degree in 2023. She was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 10th, 2001, making her only 23 years old. She now resides in Victoria, British Columbia. She is the youngest journalist yet to write for the New York Times and Canadian National News (CNN). Charlotte combines a feminist perspective within her journalism and creative writing.
